New for Summer 2026, Mountain Angler has partnered with Fly Fish Colorado to offer guided access to Rawhide Ranch.
Spanning 400 acres and nearly 2 miles of the North Fork of the South Platte River near Bailey, Rawhide Ranch is one of Colorado’s premier private fly fishing destinations. Located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Breckenridge, the ranch is known for its trophy trout, pristine river habitat, spectacular mountain scenery, and exceptional privacy.
Following a multi-million-dollar environmental restoration project, the property now provides outstanding habitat for large rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout. The ranch is divided into three private beats, each featuring restroom facilities, outdoor dining areas, and convenient parking.
In addition to its outstanding fishing, Rawhide Ranch offers a truly remarkable outdoor experience with abundant wildlife and stunning mountain views. Due to its limited availability and outstanding reputation, the ranch typically books well in advance, making early reservations highly recommended.
