The Wooly Bugger Ranch, new for Mountain Angler in 2020, is a unique fishery that has quickly become a favorite with Mountain Angler clients and guides and is exclusive for the Mountain Angler guide service. Located near Alma, Colorado the Wooly Bugger Ranch consists of over a 1/2 mile of the Middle Fork of the South Platte River. This wild section holds countless browns in the 10-16 inch range, with the chance for larger migratory browns in late summer and fall. This is a moderately difficult wading stream and is an ideal property for anglers of all experience levels.

Wooly Bugger Ranch is a Half Day Ranch. This ranch may be booked with a Half Day Wade Trip OR a Full Day Wade Trip and be combined with another half day private ranch (Spear Ranch or Maefly Ranch) OR a public water fishing location for the other half of the day.
Private Water Rod Fees are additional fees, on top of Guide Fees.
Private water access requires Mountain Angler guide. No exceptions.
