The Spear Ranch is an ideal Colorado property and is exclusive for the Mountain Angler guide service. Located near Alma, CO, Speer Ranch consists of over a 1/2 mile of the Middle Fork of the South Platte River. This section of water has undergone stream improvement which has dramatically increased the trout population. This is predominantly a brown trout fishery, with the occasional rainbow or brookie. This is a moderately difficult wading stream and is an ideal property for anglers of all experience levels.
