Has been fly fishing for over 40 years now. Growing up in New York State, he tested the waters of the Catskills, Adirondacks and other areas of New England. After earning a degree in Biology he moved to Montana, enrolling in the forestry grad program in Missoula. He’s fly fished the Rockies from Canada to Northern Arizona as well as salt water in Mexico,Belize and Christmas Island where on five occasions also conducted guide training programs. Having guided for nearly 30 years, the last 22 with the Mountain Angler, each new day on the water still remains fresh. When not guiding , he spends time with his wonderful wife Kiersten and his young son Liam, the next fly fisherman in the family.
