Drue cast his first fly rod at age 8. Growing up on a small creek in Kansas, fly fishing became a passion early in his life. Annual summer trips to Colorado further fed his hunger to catch fish on the fly. By age 14, Drue was already working in a local fly shop tying custom flies and soaking up as much knowledge he could. From the flats of Belize, to streams and rivers of Colorado, he has built a surprising repertoire of experience. Now living in Breckenridge full time, Drue has devoted his time to chasing trout and introducing others to the sport of fly fishing.
