My apologies in not keeping up with the reports. I guess the motto "no news is good news" applies here. I have just been too darn busy guiding , managing and fishing to do the update. Although we had the big run-off this year the snowpack definitely loaded the groundwater and flows are still great just about everywhere- especially on the Ark, Blue and Colorado Rivers. I just floated yesterday with two of the guides and the fishing was fantastic. We floated our private put-in from Yellow -DOG Ranch to Catamount and hooked about 60 fish/ boated 35. Most fish were in the 15-19 inch range with one 20 inch included. If you can find the time I would recommnend this trip soon. Also, we have bee floating from New Castle to Rifle with great results. This water will remain great until sometime in Novmeber . The Holmestead Ranch in s. park has also been great. Here's the latest flows and conditions.
